Obverse: A C Green's Commemorative Medallion, Battle of Jutland dated 31st May 1916.
This medallion is decorated with the White Ensign crossed with the Jack Flag with a trident in the middle. Where the flagstaffs meet is a shield with the date of the battle on it. It reads "TO THE GLORIOUS MEMORY OF THOSE WHO FELL THAT DAY." On the reverse a wreath surrounds information on the Commanding Officers at the battle and the statement "MAY 31 1916. THE GERMAN FLEET ATTACKED OFF THE COAST OF JUTLAND AND DRIVEN BACK TO THE PORT WITH HEAVY LOSS." Green is featured in Sea Your History's 'Naval Lives' section.
